in other news, i've decided to take up a studio art minor! i'm really excited; once i get my final GE's done with this quarter (and next) i'll only have grc and honors classes left to contend with. i'm more or less on track to graduating in time (this quarter is only a minor setback, i hope) so i think taking the extra time/energy to get an art minor will be worth it. (it's only 28 units!) i'll probably get my ass kicked miserably by the undoubtedly talented art and design majors at cal poly, but i can't wait.

i also enrolled in the PADI scuba certification course being offered on campus, finally!! i've wanted to sign up ever since they started the program during winter quarter last year. since i'm only taking 13 units at the moment, and the course is only 5 classes for two weeks, i figure that this is the best time to do it. hopefully it will be $230 well spent..
