i can't believe it or forget it what i saw today

 it rained all day.

i'm so happy i'm finally home! not like i was delayed for that long.. but it's nice to be back. friday night was leslie's and alix's grad party which was superr fun. susan stayed on saturday because gabe didn't want to drive back through the storm, so we sat at home watching the law and order SVU marathon for hours; it was great. :D we left once for a starbucks run, and went to em and ryan's place for homemade calzones, soooo delicious.<3 i love/miss emily's cooking. printing the back-to-school edition on sunday went well, surprisingly: the press didn't make any fits, except for the web getting caught on all the inky cylinders at first, and bryce and aaron were a lot of help. we took some web family photos.. i can't wait to add some shitty cheesy graphics and make them into holiday cards 8D

got home, sat around, eventually got to working on the Diptych theme for me/jin/nikki's feed the art belly blog. i still like the lineart but totally failed in photoshop... maybe tomorrow i'll try painting it; hopefully i don't completely screw it up.

I CAN'T WAIT until this quarter is over. just one more final on friday!! good thing i haven't been studying. i tried to after helping britt quality-check college of engineering certificates but found myself completely zoning out every ten minutes.. and then resorted to drawing scandalous naked bow-tied christmas people, one of each gender dedicated to the boys and girls in the office. i kept laughing at the time but now that i think about it.. i should probably take them down. -__-;; i didn't sign them but they'll probably figure it out and shun me for being retarded.

speaking of UGS, i thought it would be a good idea to youtube "UGS cal poly" and ended up watching myself in a video of a mustang daily press run.. took me a minute to remember alex from the mustang daily came over that night to film us, haha.

i've been struggling with whether or not to do the writing assignment tonight for this book; it's difficult because it's so emotionally taxing, i have to stop and "rest" every few pages as i'm reading. honestly, i think if you don't have a similar reaction while reading, you're not reading the story closely enough. it's too much. i'm debating whether i should just take a shower and go to bed.
