and of course i have borrowed a wonderful collection of art/craft books as usual<33 so excited. all i want to do is make art/do crafts all day... who needs school.

except painting class is pretty cool right now; i have NO idea what i'm going to do for our final assignment ("create two spaces in one painting, put yourself in one of them, each space with a different color palette, find actual source material, etcWTFFFF") but i think my self-portrait isn't too horrible! i mean, it doesn't look like me at all.. but still. not too horrible. will post pictures after my SD card decides to cooperate.

shit, i think allergy season is starting already. :(

anyway, i woke up early this morning to go bargain-hunting with bryce at garage sales and several goodwill stores. this is all the loot i got away with:

three jewelry boxes; matching editions of The Arabian Nights, The Odyssey, and The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin; a brand-new wallet; a discarded library book on scrapbooking and bookmaking; and two packs of brand-new envelopes; all for $12. <3
